hi, what brand of art supplies do you use? could you post a photo of the art supplies you use?~ i really love your art <3
Hi!! First of all, thank you soso much <3
I believe I’ve answered something similar before but I have more stuff now, so ye. I usually use the same tools for simple drawings, but this is more or less what I have in my room:

First of all, graphite.
I usually prefer mechanical pencils, but 2F/HB/2B are so important if I want to do skin, shading etc. ((I use loads of Staedtler material when it comes to draw))

Speaking of Staedtler, another thing that I often use (especially for school projects), are pigment liners. From 0.05 to 0.2, I mostly use them for small dark details on portraits, or even just for sketches.

I also use white gel pens for light details, or for decorating.

I’m currentrly using Faber-Castell Watercolour pencils to colour, but I will soon switch to polychromos (I really love the softness of them)

Other tools they’ve taught me to use in school that I rarely use but could be useful for someone else: sfumino, gomma-lapis and sanguigna (I’m really sorry but I have no idea if there are any English words for these). The sfumino is a blending stick (?) for graphite; gomma-lapis can be translated to “eraser-pencil”?? idk but it’s basically an eraser in the shape of a pencil with a little brush on the other end, simple as that. The sanguigna is a blood-coloured pencil, which is also known to have been used by Leonardo Da Vinci, in case you were interested.

I love Copic Markers but hate the high price, ugh. I’m using these a lot lately, for school projects as well.

Winsor&Newton watercolours -which I rarely use (as you can see by the picture)- are pretty good but I sincerely don’t know if they sell different brands other than this one here.

Last but not least, oil colours! I don’t use these much, unless I’m inspired to do something big and challenging, (I used them only thrice so far, ahah). I don’t know how many brands there are, but Classico’s are pretty good imo!

Tip: any type of paper is good (unless you want to use watercolours and paint obv), but if I’d have to give some advice, I’d tell you not to buy sketchbooks from Tiger. That paper sucks when it comes to do traditional drawing (at least for me) :–((
Hope it helped in some way!
